Confused.com Car Insurance

Before Confused.com arrived on the scene motorists obtained their car insurance through the likes of brokers or banks in the high street, websites of brokers, contacting individual insurance companies or insurance brokers over the telephone or through an insurance company’s website. If you wished to compare quotes from a number of insurance companies you were involved in many hours trawling through paperwork.

This all changed in 2002 when Confused.com went live with the first online car insurance price comparison site.

In 2005 they introduced home insurance and today Confused.com offer such things as car insurance, home insurance, life insurance, travel insurance, motorbike insurance, pet insurance, van insurance, landlords insurance and caravan insurance to name but a few. Confused.com also provides access to gas and electricity deals and also a selection of financial services products including credit cards, personal loans and bank accounts.

Confused.com is a part of Admiral Group but do not favour Admiral products over other companies as they pride themselves on their independence.

Their car insurance comparison site provides access to as many as 130 car insurance providers.

They also provide access to a number of specialist car inurance schemes such as young drivers car insurance, black box car insurance which, for a good safe driver, is potentially worth looking at,womens car insurance, temporary car and van insurance where you require cover for up to 28 days, over 50s car insurance and classic car insurance to name but a few.

Their business is conducted in the main via their website that enables them to help contain their business expenditure.
